Raise Your Brow on a Missing Tooth from Dental Arch—How far CBCT is Helpful?

Abstract The aim of this article is to discuss the sequelae a missing tooth from normal series dental arch and importance cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) in diagnosis treatment planning such cases. We also correlate position an impacted maxillary premolar as seen on panoramic radiography with CBCT. Routine imaging modalities like intraoral periapical, occlusal, view often give inadequate information which can be misleading surgeon. Exact location impacted/missing its relation vital structures was previously challenge assess by clinician, now very well interpreted In report, case highlighted image radiograph, exact location/position CBCT, how surgical removal accomplished.
